Can my built in gas tanks be filled in Spain?    At present we know of no bulk gas supplier able to fill tanks in motorhomes. Graham & Sue Sayers suggest the use of a Marshall Extend-a-Stay which can be bought at most RV parts retailers. To connect the Extend-a--Stay to a Spanish bottle a special brass adaptor is required, otherwise the normal EaS connection has to be cut and this can cause problems in the UK. This special connector is Part No. 1301 available from Bullfinch Gas Equipment Ltd., on 0121 7066301, against a credit card. Current price, inc delivery, is £6.06. Graham advises that you obtain a Spanish bottle, orange with a black stripe, probably from a boot sale. This will be propane. You will then need a regulator and he recommends the Corsa, SA model K10/01, blue with red top, which gives good pressure for on board operations. This should come from any ferreterier (ironmongers).
